Every plan includes the AI processing behind it: email parsing, clarification loops, confidence scoring and reply drafting all run on us, with no token bills, no per-quote AI surcharge, and no “AI credits” to top up. The only metered thing on any plan is what’s already on the pricing page — price requests per month. If AI model prices move, that’s our problem, not your invoice.

It can — that’s the point, and you decide how far it goes. Left to run autonomously, Ratiq’s clarification loops keep improving a request’s confidence score on their own, and once the data is clean and confidence reaches the 90% floor, the system prices, builds and sends the offer without anyone lifting a finger. Below that floor, it never sends — no exceptions. And your team can step into any autonomous process at will: pause a clarification loop, take over the client thread and steer it manually, or tune the autonomy in settings — faster, slower, or fully off so every quote passes human review.

Ratiq ships with major-carrier integrations built in across ocean, air, rail and road, and you can add your own carrier relationships — your credentials, your direct contracts — through the integrations included in your tier. Rates come in via carrier APIs, and via secure browser automation where a carrier has no API. All carriers are queried in parallel, typically returning rates in under 10 seconds.

Sea, road, rail and air. Ratiq ships with the major carriers in each mode already integrated — and new integrations land continuously — plus any direct contracts you load, so you can start quoting immediately. Rates are ranked by total landed cost and transit time.

Ratiq never guesses. If a lane, leg or mode returns no live rate, auto-reply is skipped and the request lands in your review queue flagged for manual pricing, with the empty result recorded in the audit trail. You quote it by hand; nothing stalls silently and nothing wrong goes out.

The AI clarification loop kicks in: when a key field is missing or low-confidence, Ratiq automatically emails the requester for the detail, then re-parses the reply and continues, no manual chasing required.

Quotes are converted at ECB reference rates plus your configured margin, and the FX rate is locked at the moment of approval. Currency movements between quote and booking cannot erode your margin.

Ratiq does not file customs entries or sell cargo insurance — that stays with your customs broker and your policy. But the surcharge engine treats them as first-class line items: insurance (flat or a percentage of declared value), customs handling, documentation, and demurrage, storage and detention terms (including per-day pricing) can all be built into a quote so your client sees the terms upfront. Carrier-reported disruptions that affect customs or inland legs surface as exception alerts.

All carrier API keys and login credentials are encrypted with AES-256 (Fernet) before storage. They are never exposed in logs, the UI, or API responses. Only the quote engine decrypts them at runtime to fetch rates.

Yes. When a quote is ready you get a notification with Approve, Edit and Reject buttons. The Edit flow opens a modal where you can change carrier, adjust rates and add notes, then send, without leaving Slack. Microsoft Teams and Discord are supported too.

Yes. The Pro plan includes a REST API with scoped, rate-limited keys, and outbound webhooks can push quote and booking events into your TMS or data warehouse as they happen — no manual re-entry. Slack and Teams notifications are available from the Starter plan up.

Your plan is a floor, not a tax. When your team books shipments through Ratiq, our carrier partners share a small margin with us — at no extra cost to you. Hit your tier’s monthly booking target and those margins cover everything: we waive your plan fee entirely. A free or waived plan is only reviewed if it stays below its booking target for 3 consecutive months.

You get a reminder email on day 25. On day 30 the account switches to read-only: you can still view existing quotes but not process new ones. Upgrade anytime to resume. No data is ever deleted.
